S. Psalm 10:7 (NKJ) The Law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

O.The instruction, direction and teaching of God through His Word is full of integrity and truth; completed. It returns our thinking, our will and our character back to the way God intended them to be at the beginning of the creation of man. The showing of proof by God (His Testimony), through His Word, is reliable and trustworthy. God's Word creates in us open minds and open morals. God's Word creates a seducible mind; opened minds to HIS way of thinking!

A. It's true! The more I read the more my mind becomes opened to God's ways! The more my mind thinks simply (no 'do-it-myself' thoughts), the more wisdom God can put in me, because His thoughts are higher than man's thoughts! He draws my mind to His, through His Word! 

P.Father, Your Word seduces my mind, will and character to the way You created me to be in the first place; YOURS! Show me how to 'dumb-down' human thoughts and morals and to receive ALL Your wisdom and ways, Father, through Your Word!

S. Acts 10:40, 41 (AMP)  But God raised Him to life on the third day and caused Him to be manifest (to be plainly seen),  Not by all the people but to us who were chosen (designated) beforehand by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.

O. God awakens Jesus inside people He has pre-chosen. In these people, and in His perfect timing, Jesus is made obvious (SHINES). These people are to be 'martyrs', those who willingly die to 'self' rather than renounce their belief in God, His cause and His principles. These people are those who feed their spirits on God's Word (bread) and drink in His Spirit to become refreshed and strengthened (water). In doing so, they are able to soak up God's very thoughts, uniting with God's mind/Spirit. With all of these, Jesus stands up in us and comes into action within us.

A. I know this for a fact in my life. The more I read God's Word, the more I know Jesus! The more I unite with God's Spirit, allowing Him to point out in His Word what I need for each new day, the more I know Jesus! I can feel His action inside of me, giving me His thougts, His very thinking. I'm eating and drinking what causes life to grow and become stronger in my spirit. Uniting with Jesus, becoming one with Him in His Word, is the only way to REALLY know Him and allow His to grow me up into what I was pre-chosen to be in the first place. As I eat and drink, I desire more and more spiritual food. The more this desire grows in me, the more I die to self and want what He wants. I LOVE THIS! He is changing MY mind! And it is becoming easier and easier to desire what He desires in my life!

P.Holy Spirit, awaken within me more hunger and thirst for Your Word. Teach me how to think like Jesus and point to The Father always as He does! Stand up in me, Jesus! I want more room for You in my spirit!

Act 9:13, 14 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

O.

Ananias had heard the terrible things that Saul had done to all the Believers of Jesus. People were afraid because of all that was spoken about Saul in fear; fear breeds fear. But Ananias believed GOD more than MAN! Knowing God, Ananias knew that God would protect him in this assignment...why would God give Ananias a job without giving him the ways, means, and protection to fulfill it? What would have happen if Ananias HADN'T obeyed God? This one man could have changed the whole Bible...for the rejection of the 'assignment' from God would have slowed the process of the New Testament coming to us being that Saul/Paul would be the one who would eventually write it.

A.

When God gives me an assignment, He will also provide me with ALL I need (including NO FEAR) to complete it! I will trust in Him and obey what He tells me to do, knowing that no power in heaven or earth can stop God's plans. If I reject His jobs, He will find someone else to do it. I am just His vessel...and His plans will come about with or without me. Fear or no fear, I must listen to God and NOT man!

Father, I pray for not only BIG ears to hear You, but for a heart of obedience! I desire You to use me, Lord. Put in me, Lord, Your boldness and desires to complete the jobs you give me...and the FIRST time!

Acts 8:3, 4 As for Saul (Hebrew for 'inquire, demand, desire, SEEK'), he made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and woman, committing them to prison. Therefore (as a result), those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word.

O.

 I see this as a parallel to those who are seeking the ANSWER to 'why are we here and what is my purpose'. Saul is a type of 'SEEKER'.Saul, the 'SEEKER', hauls off, by intimidation and fear, those he thinks have a DIFFERENT answer to life's question, "why am I here?". Saul THINKS he knows the answer and isn't opened to this new way of thinking. So, he isolates them in order to 'watch' them ('prision'). As he watches the way they live, they spread the word. He can not help but 'see' how they are living and if they really KNOW the answer.

A.

Some people seek answers by intimidating those they think DON'T have the answers to life's questions. Some people think they are right. But inside, they aren't satisfied. Be intimidation and fear, they put down those whose life shows that they DO have the answer. This puts pressure on the one that has the answer (JESUS) to live out in front of the 'seeker' that which reveals satisfaction. By living a satisfied and peaceful life in front of this 'seeker', he sees that the one with the answer HAS the answer....and is spreading the 'word' with his life.

P.

Father, I pray that my life would show JESUS! I pray that no matter what pressure I am under...how much scrutany or watching I am under, I would reveal JESUS out of every pore of my body and spirit! In Jesus' name I pray this! Help me always to point to YOU, Father, as Jesus did!

S Act 7:34 I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

O God said 'I have seen' TWICE to stress that He heard the people's cries for His help. Then He says he HEARD them; He perceived what they were crying out to Him for and now He would come down, abide with them, walk with them, step by step, to deliver them from these hurts. But in order that they would be truly freed, Moses had to GO BACK to Egypt. You have to GO BACK to the place of trouble to DO IT OVER in order to be truly liberated. This is TRUE freedom from the enemy. To GO BACK to be freed from 'yourself' and let God walk you through it; step by step.

A This scripture is an answer to my prayer for help. Coming out of a place of intimidation, and not walking through that place very well, God has now given me the asignment to 'GO BACK'.  I will be, once more, face to face with this place of intimidation. I now have the choice to walk WITH God, or go through it by myself. I CHOOSE GOD! And I know, because He's sending me 'BACK TO EGYPT', He has heard my prayer for help and wants me liberated in THAT place where I will break free of all intimidation! He will walk with me there, step by step, teaching me how to live IN Egypt as a free woman of God.

P Father, You amaze me! Your Word is full of every lesson in life, and when we allow Your Word to teach us, we learn what we need to know; YOUR WAYS! Thank You for sending me BACK TO EGYPT! I pray that You would give me the strength I need IN YOU to get through this place of returning. Show me how to STAY LIBERATED, Lord! In Your Sons name I pray!

I just remembered that as Israel came OUT OF EGYPT they were given riches by those who had had them in bondage (Egypt) for 400 or so years! I AM EXPECTING THAT when I come OUT of EGYPT! REPAYMENT!

Scripture:

Luke 6:10 (NKJ) And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he (Stephen = "crowned" = a mark of royalty, honor, exalted rank) spoke.

Observation:

None of these 'freed slaves' from Asia ("mire/slime") could despute the clear truth of what Stephen spoke. The very Spirit of God, who dwelled inside of Stephen, spoke through him. Having the mind of Christ, Stephen thought like Jesus did and when he connected his heart to his mind, the very thoughts of Jesus came out of his mouth. No one can hinder, obstruct or combat TRUTH! These controlling men, trying to defend the flesh, could not combat what was true wisdom; TRUTH!

Application:

By myself, I can not speak Truth. I can not defend my beliefs or stand. But when Holy Spirit leads my words, connects my spirit with Holy Spirit, connects my heart to my spirit, connects my spirit with my mind and then my mind to my words, then God's Truth emerges. Because my words become His words, no power or control can dispute or war against them. They are God's pure words...clearly seen. No amount of control can stand against God's Truth!

Prayer:

Father, I give You my words. Speak through me Your Truth, Father by way of Your Spirit. Dispell all fleshly control in my life by Your Truth, Father.

Scripture

Acts 5:38, 39 "And now I ("Gamaliel"=Recompenser) say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone for it this plan or this work is of man, it will come to nothing; But if it is of God you can not overthrow it lest you even be found to fight against God."

Observation:

Gamaliel, being a studier of the scriptures, knew that the men of God would be made evident by God. Those who were not of God would be found out sooner or later.

Application:

When situations come along in which I'm not sure what to do, especially when people are involved, I am to keep away from that situation and let it play itself out. If the intention is of the flesh, this problem will disolve. But if it originates from God, it won't be possible for it to disolve because that would be resisting God who was the 'Originator' of that situation (in order to teach me something to grow me up). I am not to resist or war against God. He will fight for me! And we will win over this situation together as I allow His will to be done! He sees the end from the beginning...I do not! 

Prayer:

Father, if this 'situation' is YOUR plan, help me to do Your will...and let it lie.

Scrip:

Acts 4:11, 12 "This is the Stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is becom the head of the corner (comes from the word 'kneel, knee') Neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other name (authority, character)under heaven given among men where by we must be saved."

Observation:

This scripture is telling us that the ONLY way to be rescued/saved is to have the same posture and character of Jesus. No human can show us the way to being saved. We need to be in the same posture as Jesus was/is: on our knees in submission and humility, and having a character that is full of love for the Father.

Application:

It amazes me that God sent part of Himself here to earth for our Supreme Example. Jesus ALWAYS gave God all the credit. He always submitted to what God the Father desired and He did it while full of love for His Father. THAT is the way I am to live, too. On my knees and on my face. By living my life with the knees and face/character of Jesus, I KNOW I am saved because in this possition only God gets the glory! That is the exact reason God created us. To give God all the praise and glory for this free life He gave us. Jesus showed us how!

Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for showing us the posture I am to live in; always loving our Father and always submitting to Him. I want YOUR knees, Lord and I desire Your face!

Scripture:

Acts 3:16 And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him the perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Observation:

A name is what helps us to remember the CHARACTER, REPUTATION, INTEGRITY, VIRTUES, QUALITIES, AND MORAL CREDENTIALS of a person. And having faith in that person is knowing we can rely on what their name stands for. THAT is what Peter is saying here. That through the QUALITIES and CHARACTER of Jesus, this man was healed. Peter and John allowed themselves to be used as channels for the action of Jesus' character to heal this man. Relying on Jesus, and all He stood for is what healed this man...NOT just His name, for a 'name' alone is just a word. The name of Jesus is NOT a magic word.

Application:

When I pray for someone, I am to allow Jesus to channel His reputation through me. This gives the 'action' to 'asking', because just saying the name of Jesus won't do a thing. I need to allow His qualities, virtues and moral credentials, to flow through me. I need to ask the Father for my petition with the heart and mind of Jesus; His faith, His love, His compassion, His desires. This knowing of Jesus' reputation can only come through intimacy with Him. When I KNOW Him, I can ask Father God the way that Jesus does and with HIS heart...because I KNOW His character!

Prayer:

Father, I thank You for Your Son. I pray for revelational knowledge of His character because He ALWAYS glorifies You! This is my desire, too, Father. I pray for Your Son's character in me!

Scripture:

Acts 1:1 The former account I made, O Theophilus ("Friend of God"), of all that Jesus BEGAN both to do and teach.

Observation:

This was the first topic written (top priority) to bring to the "friends of God", reasoning and calculation to the mind....to make God's friends think. This also tells that Jesus only BEGAN to execute and teach this way of thinking. It was left unfinished for God's friends to continue. It would be continued with the leading of the Holy Spirit, sent after Jesus went to the Father.

Application:

Through allowing Holy Spirit to move through me, I am to learn and demonstrate all that He teaches me, in continuing what Jesus only began.

Prayer:

Father, I pray that through Your Spirit, You would continue in me what You began through Your Son here on earth. Teach me through Your Spirit the Truth, that I may demonstrate Truth here on earth. I pray for clear wisdom and knowledge through Your Word, Father.
