"LETTING THE MANA MELT EACH MORNING"
S. Exodus 15:8,25 & 16:21
15:8 With the blast of Your nostrils the waters piled up, the floods stood fixed in a heap, the deeps congealed in the heart of the sea.
15:25 And he cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree which he cast into the waters, and the waters were made sweet.
16:21 They gathered it (the mana) every morning, each as much as he needed, for when the sun became hot it melted.
O. This is a picture of what God does with His Word for us.
1.) He uses it as a guide (fixed in a heap) to guide us in the right way, as when the Israelites went through the Red Sea on dry land.
2.) He shows us how to mingle the Word with the Giver of Truth (Jesus) that gives us the RIGHT Word...the Word of Truth. (casting the Tree into the Water to make it sweet)
3.) We are to 'gather' the 'mana' (heep up the Word), each beginning of every day, until it is absorbed into our spirit (melts in His glory inside of us). In this place, we gather personal spiritual knowledge and understanding, deep in our souls and spirits.
A. When I gather the 'mana' each morning, each NEW DAY, and allow Jesus and His Spirit to teach me, I know I am finding personal spiritual truth just for me...a personal rhema word. Then I mediatate on it all day, allowing it to melt inside of me in understanding.
P. Thank You, Lord that You showed me this. Help me to meditate each day on Your Word. Keep my spirit constantly full of Your Sweet Mana, lead by Holy Spirit to personal wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Thank You, Jesus, that YOU are the WORD!
